Need Gift Code When Adding a Single Gift
I am very happy that Gift Code was finally added to the RENXT webview Grid Batch! However, the field is not available when adding a single gift. So instead of clinking on add gift in a constituent record I have to go to gifts, gift batch entry and create a new gift batch to be albe to include the gift code. Can we please add Gift Code as a field when adding a single gift?

This makes more sense to have this feature while entering the gift! Sometimes we forget to go back into the gift to make the edit and it's very frustrating when running reports on gift code.
O.k. I found the Gifts & Marketing code tile . . . but just know that this makes so much extra work for those of us who are entering gifts in NXT. To me, it's laziness on the part of Blackbaud.
So, @Anthony where do I find this field on an individual gift record in NXT? Do I need to add this as a customer field? I'm not seeing a Gifts & Marketing code tile on a gift record.

I also do not see this field in the edit options on the gifts in Webview - we use this field on all gifts - when I do integrity checks at the end of the month and someone enters one incorrectly how do we fix it in webview???
This doesn't already exist. Please make it so users can input data in ALL gift fields when adding a single gift using the "New"(plus sign) button. Having to enter a gift with incomplete information and then having to go into the gift record to edit it is why I don't use Web View to add single gifts.
I think this is the major over all challenge with moving to webview for Database Entry/Admins. The strength of database view is we can create records completely and then save them. Quicker entry by remaining "slim" may not actually be quicker in the long run.
This is available today from the gift record. The workflow for single gift entry is to enter the core details for a gift and on Save, you land on the gift record to finish any additional details including tributes, opportunities, etc. There are no plans to add more fields to the add form itself to keep it as slim as possible for quicker entry.
Yes!! I am still adding individual gifts in Database view because all fields are not available in single gift entry in Web View. It's a waste of time to input incomplete information, let us enter everything we need to the first time. All fields need to be available everywhere.
Gift code should be available for any type of gift entry. Sending me back to db view to add one off gifts/pledges as gift code is required field for us.
