Generate acknowledgement letters in web view

Is there not yet a way to generate acknowledgement letters in web view? I have done this in database view but cannot find a way to set up this function in web view.


In the past I have used the database view to run acknowledgement letters (via batch query), but as our organization continues to streamline our RE usage to web view, it would be great to have an acknowledgment letter function in NXT.


Also, the database view's Mail module is clunky and not very user friendly. Hoping this can be built out soon!

    It would be so useful to be able to generate acknowledgement letters via a conditional merge within NXT, rather than having to rely on external tools or technical knowledge.

    Having the ability to run a mail job similar to the one in DB View that marks the records acknowledged at the end of the process would be a big time saver.

    We'd like to switch over to more modern PDF acknowledgement letters generated from web view, but are forced to stick with database view since the features isn't available. The ability to also mark gifts as acknowledged with today's date is important.

    We still have a large number of supporters who want an acknowledgement letter rather than email, so hoping this can happen within NXT!
