Allow Recurring Gift Payments to be applied to Pledges Merged

I have donors who set up pledges and then want to pay them with their recurring gift in NXT. I need to be able to apply these recurring gifts as pledge payments. PLEASE HELP

    Hello! I'm moving this Idea into the RE NXT idea bank (it was posted in the RE7 idea bank).

    Also, just a clarification - Recurring Gifts are a fundamentally different type of commitment than a Pledge. As such, Recurring Gift Payments are applied to the Recurring Gifts that triggered their creation. They cannot also be applied to a Pledge.

    I think what you are really requesting is the ability to automate pledge payments, which is a totally fair suggestion but is not possible today. There is already an idea for this in the RE NXT idea bank. I'm going to merge this idea with that one: https://renxt.ideas.aha.io/ideas/RENXT-I-2965
