More flexibility with the individual display name in NXT

It would be helpful to be able to choose a salutation as the display name for a record, just as you can in the database view of RE. It is better to be able to see more information in the display name, rather than just different variations on the name and the class year if applicable. We use constituency abbreviations along with class years (two digits, not four) in what we call the Prospect salutation and like to use it as the display name for records. I'd like to be able to do that in NXT.

This is an issue for us because if we choose to include the class year in our display name, even non-grads have their class year displayed. We woud like to have addtional settings which allow us to customize the display name in the same way that database view allows.
We use a specific format for Class Years that includes more than 4 digits. In Database View, we use a specific Addressee/Salutation. It would be ideal to be able to use this in NXT Web View.
Hey Tim, thanks for submitting this idea! It sounds like it is referring to RE NXT web view, so I'm going to move this from the RE7 Idea Bank to the RE NXT Idea Bank.
That said, I also wanted to make sure that you know that there is a configuration option that does provide some flexibility on the Constituent display name in web view. The option is located under Control Panel > Settings > Constituent records.
I'm curious to hear if this configuration option gives you what you are looking for, and if not, what specific things are missing.
