Similar to in Reporting how you can create a list from data on a chart/table, I would find it useful to create an NXT list of event participants - we would then have a link we could share w/ staff of attendees, filter by fundraiser, drill down by ratings/interests, add/remove columns and exclude groups of individuals. We could potentially even use list for Email once that's integrated.
A step further would be to select *multiple* events (say, all of our alumni engagement events for 2 years) and create one list for that.
I think this would work in tandem with or lieu of adding ALL the constituent record fields to events.

We have shipped a new feature that allows you to Create a constituent list directly from the Participant list. Look for this in the navigation bar of your Event's Participant List in NXT!
Seems like this is an obvious need. Why is it taking Blackbaud so long to make this happen?

I would like to be able to filter a regular constituent list by event participation. We presently have to add custom fields to do this, which creates double work and messy data.
