Mapping Function Not Able to Zoom in on 2 geographically close constituents

In Raiser's Edge NXT (Fundraising - Work - Overview) I want to be able to see our FY YTD gifts, and be able to freeze the dates in my saved view instead of having the date roll forward each day.
