Seconding the comments about needed for importing pledge/recurring/event P2P info from other products and ability to query on auditor requests by Gift ID.
Having the Gift ID be a column option would be massively helpful for auditing purposes whether it be for a monthly reconciliation or for requests from Auditors to show that the entries are different gifts. Please add this feature!!!

We also need to be able to edit the gift ID in web view.

The Gift ID is important and basic information that should be included in the list column options.
The information is right there on the gift record so it should be an available column in Gift Lists.
Should be included in Gift Basics as they are pretty basic for all gifts.
