Need ability to mark the only phone number or email in NXT as inactive

It's very frustrating wanting to mark the one and only phone number (or email) in NXT as inactive and being asked to select a primary phone or email, when there is none. I then have to transition to database view in order to do this action. I see this idea has come up before – it's much needed!
