Link manual recurring gift payments to a recurring gift in grid batch

We have many donors with recurring gifts who submit monthly payments via check rather than have us do an automated pull with their credit cards. I am trying to link a recurring gift payment made via check to a recurring gift in grid batch in Raiser's Edge NXT, but there is not an option for me to link the payment to the recurring gift or even set the gift type as Recurring gift pay-cash. Grid batch in NXT needs to have an "apply to recurring gift" like it does for pledges. This is critical for our operations to fully switch to grid batch on NXT vs entering batches in database. Without this functionality, I now have to cancel the batch I started in NXT and re-enter the data in a database batch so I can apply one gift (of 19) to a recurring gift. Please add this functionality soon!

    We also need this function. Otherwise, we'll have to add the gift in NXT as part of a batch, then go into database view and apply the check payment to the recurring gift later as an adjustment.

    Also an essential function for us. With the new updates to NXT Batch Processing we were almost ready to move over entirely from DBV, but without this functionality we can't.

    This will be an essential functionality for us. We do not use BBMS but have almost 200 recurring gifts to process every month. You keep talking about the Unified View in RE NXT but do not include the basic functions of batch entry in Webview. I understand it's a process, but please do not expect customers to adapt to new systems when the new systems are not fully built out.

    I 100% agree! I just did another batch in NXT but when it comes to a recurring gift by check, I have to go to database view to ensure proper coding and reporting. We definitely need the "check" option for recurring gifts in NXT.

    I looked up this issue in the knowledge base and the article suggested voting for this idea if I would like this improvement. This is not an improvement but basic functionality that is available in Database view! We need to be able to link gifts to the same things in WebView that we can in database view!

    This is essential for us too. We cannot switch to NXT gift entry until we can fulfil the next instalment of the recurring gifts.
