Every year, we enter feeder school information for new students. I am unsure about how best to proceed with entering this information. In NXT, the Education box is separate from the relationship box. However, if I add a school there, it doesn't link to an organization record. Ideally, I would like Education to link to an Organization record, so that I can record address and contact information for the school, as well as easily be able to click into the organization record to see what other students attended that school. But as of now, it looks like the Education box doesn't work that way.

On the other hand, I don't really want to add prior school information as an Organization record because that seems messy. I would rather have all of the information about a student's educational journey in the Education box.

Instead of using a table of Schools to connect to education, is it possible to connect the schools to an organization record and still have it appear in the Education box?
