The flexibility of being able to toggle on a donation option would be beneficial.

Right now, the donation form only allows for collection of data if a donation is made. In event registration (for free events) you can collect data without a transaction, but can toggle on a allow donations button for some case where we'd like to solicit when someone is registering for an event. Sometimes we don't solicit for event registrations. This has been a really great feature.

Something similar in "allow donations" for a constituent form would be helpful as an optional field when we'd want to collect data and have the form submitted, but offer the option to contribute.

Thanks for submitting this idea! One followup question on this - can you give me a use case of why you would want this on a Constituent Form and not just use a Donation Form? A Donation Form allows you to take a gift as well as collect all of the constituent fields you see today. With Standard Form you can put the constituent fields above the gift fields as well, and you can limit the amount to just a write-in amount instead of using a full ask ladder.
