I spoke with Support and was directed to share this idea here—but I see that this thread already exists.

The current “Fund Category” filter in the Dashboards isn’t very useful for our organization. What we really need is the ability to filter by “Fund” and “Appeals,” especially when analyzing Acquired, Retained, and Recaptured donors. It’s disappointing that the Dashboard doesn’t allow for this level of filtering.

For example, when reviewing individual giving, we’d prefer to exclude membership sales and grants. The Dashboard would be far more powerful and relevant if we had more control over what data is included through better filtering options.

Rather than starting a new post, I’m adding my voice here to support and emphasize the importance of this feature.

Agree with your request - also interested in customized fundraiser dashboard that is based on a query that is related to Assigned Fundraiser/Solicitor.

I would love to be able to export all the compents of a custom dashboard as a pdf or excel. A lot of flexibility and features were lost when Crystal Reports was taken away. The only options to generating similar reports are the dashboard and insights. The feature is great to look at on the screen, but become less useful if one cannot export or print in a way that maintains the layout.

I would love to use Insight Designer to create a custom dashboard for myself as a pastor of a church. This would give me Insights into Events w/attendance, Small Groups with participation records, Relationship managers and their portfolios, as well as all of the giving totals. It could be built to alert leaders to coming expenses, birthdays, special yearly events like conferences, as well as weddings and funerals. The information building blocks are in place, please help us to have quick access to it! Thanks so much.

I'd love to replicate the Recent Gifts dashboard from RE7 in RE NXT.  Our team uses it to check what gifts came in today so they can make timely thank you calls to their donors.
