I see that some edits are possible in NXT for one time gifts, however this needs to happen for all gifts. I was unable to add a soft credit to a pledge payment that was made through a family foundation and needed a soft credit to additional family members for donor recognition. The edit option for a pledge payment is not available in NXT. Again this is allowed in DBV make it work in NXT!

I'm grateful this is planned. Different fields are required by WV and DBV, so anything that can only be updated in DBV cannot always be updated. Specifically any gift automatically on direct debit cannot be edited on DBV. I'd love to see this implemented before we start working on our annual reports in October so we can do our regular lifetime giving indicators.

This needs to be addressed to reduce inefficiencies. Valuable resource is being wasted having to navigate between the two platforms.

This is urgent, as we start to move over to NXT it is very irritation having to toggle between both platforms to make minor adjustments.

We should be able to edit all gift info as we could in database view. Such as it's a problem when a new recurring gift gets set up and they make a payment at the same time.

Agreed, going back and forth between NXT and database view for changes is exhausting.

Payment information would be the most important one to me. I'd like to add a card if a donor decides that it's easier mid-pledge rather than write off remaining balance and create a new automatic cc pledge.

I have the ability to change the gift amount, appeal, campaign, fund, split gift and soft credit; however I can not change any of the payment information or gift dates, or notes and have to go into database view. It is really frustrating to have to go back and forth between the two.

Completely agree. We frequently need to edit fund and gift date as well. This needs to be possible in NXT.
