Customizable URLs for Hosted Donation Forms

We were just informed that we can no longer imbed donation forms on the website and can only hyperlink to the hosted form. While I can appreciate the benefit of a customized hyperlink or button on the website, our concern is the inability for donors to associate the hosted donation form URL with our organization. There is no reference in the auto-generated URL to the name of the donation form or our organization name. Being redirected to another site to process a gift raises a red flag for most, but to land on a page where you cannot verify the authenticity/security may inhibit donors from completing the donation. Yes, the donation form has our organization logo, but anyone can copy/paste those to make a form look authentic.

    Having the ability to customize the URL in some way to reflect the organization and/or campaign, and to have it be cleaner and shorter, would be very beneficial. As it currently stands, the long link with no mention of our org, would likely create confusion and concern among our donors and hinder them from donating.

    We completely agree! And also voted for this idea, "Allow custom NXT Donation Form Links"


    We would like to use the hosted URL option for a donation form, but the URL is long and looks sketchy to us.

    Would there be a way for the URLs for the hosted URL option to be edited by users, or to be shorter and related to the user name like https://host.nxt.blackbaud.com/schoolofvisualarts
