There are times when it is necessary to compare two records, especially spouses, to compare what address we show for each or to compare the relationships that are on each record such as children. It is helpful when I decease a person and a record is created for the surviving spouse, I want to be sure we list the children on the surviving spouse record as well and it's tedious to have to go back and forth to open each record. You can drag the tab out and then reopen the other record but that's insane.
