We use business rules for pop up alerts during gift entry in database view that are crucial to have in NXT batch. There are multiple business rules for various reasons that are required for accurate gift entry processing. We absolutely need these in webview and it is only one of many concerns and issues that keep us from trying webview batch entry.
In database view we had a business rule if the annotation is not blank, the message pops up during gift entry (and when you open the constituent record). This is helpful in gift entry. If someone knows of a check on the way and it requires special treatment a annotation is made. When doing the gift entry it will tell the user where to post.
