If someone donates online on behalf of an organisation, two records are created - one for the individual and one for the organisation. The gift is added to the organisation’s record, and a relationship is created between the organisation and individual record. There is no reference to the individual within the gift record – this is only shown in BBMS. It would be really useful to have a link/reference between the gift and the individual record, without having to go into BBMS. This would be especially useful for organisations that have multiple relationships to individuals – in this situation, there’s no way of telling which individual is connected to the organisation’s gift without going into BBMS.
