It would be so helpful if constituents can update their payment method themselves for a pledge schedule. I know the portal allows them to do this for recurring gifts but we mainly use pledges. There have been many times where someone starts with a pledge but then has to start a recurring gift to finish out their pledge because they feel more comfortable and is it easier for them to update this themselves through a link vs. them giving us their CC information over the phone (very understandable). Because you cannot apply recurring gift payments to pledges, our gift records become very messy and defeat the purpose of making a pledge (which is also difficult to track for our auditing purposes).
