Make Letter Code visible for all Acknowledgement statuses
Currently in web view Letter Code only appears if the status is Not Acknowledged or Acknowledged. We need it to be visible for Do Not Acknowledge as well. It's very useful to use it to indicate WHY a gift is Do Not Acknowledge (rather than burying this in a custom field). ie. Ack Status is DNA, Letter Code is "No letter - donor declined" or "No letter - below minimum amt". Having it right there in letter field is faster for users to understand and complete and provides absolute clarity for the person generating thank you letters.

Being able to the Letter Code and the Acknowledge status is needed for batch entry in web view. This is vital and required to produce acknowledgement letters.
We still use database for gift batch entry and must continue to do so for now. We cannot even try web view until we can attempt to create custom batch templates that match up with all the database ones we use.
Was looking to add exactly this, and I'm glad to see someone else already has. It is very helpful to have the reason why a letter was not sent right there in the Letter Code field instead of having to add a new custom field to the gift.
