Stop auto-batching gifts in NXT
Can we not have online gifts being put in batches automatically? Can they just come in as a list of gifts, similar to how it works in Online Express? We can then just tick which ones we want to process.
Credit card payments take 2-3 days to clear to our accounts, and it's quite time consuming trying to find the relevant donations via multiple auto-batches to approve.
For example, we may have X amount of $$ come to our account via merchant services. That could be made up of multiple donations, and if say, we have 3 auto-batches that have been generated, it could be 1 gift from batch 1 and 2 gifts from batch 2 that have cleared. I then have to open each batch, find the correct donor, and move that gift to a new batch so the donations can all be processed together. Because the batches take FOREVER to load and open, this takes a long time to do each morning

I would suggest that you allow customization of automatic batches. I think it is fine to create batches of gifts that come in through BBMS, but it would be waaaaay better if we could decide the criteria for which gifts go into which batches. As it is, it is not at all helpful to us to have the gifts divided into batches based on the payment method (credit card vs direct debit vs cash/pledge) and the type of gift (installment vs event registration vs donation form). We process gifts based on the fund and other factors, so it would be much more useful if we could specify which batch gifts would go into rather than have them automatically sorted into the current categories of batches.
We need more flexibility on this, please.
