This idea applies not only to online giving donation forms, but to other areas as well, such as gift entry, reviewing giving details on a donor profile and other areas.

The webview currently displays only fund descriptions when working with donation forms, gift entry and donor profile giving details. Database Admins and gift entry staff rely on Fund Code IDs for accuracy, and our organization has multiple funds with similar descriptions. Displaying the Fund Code ID alongside the description in all relevant areas would reduce errors, ensure gifts are allocated to the correct fund, and save a significant amount of time not having to verify the correct fund code is being applied.

Alternatively, if there is a process for users to set a default preference for how fund information is displayed — by ID, by description or both — that would be a great addition. Having the option for end users to set display preferences could be beneficial across other data fields as well.
