In Database View, when saving an action, users have the option to select “Save & New.” This functionality is greatly missed by our fundraisers in Web View.
I understand that the underlying mechanics in Web View are different, which may make this feature more complex to implement in the same way. However, the strength of the Database View option was that it was optional and workflow-enhancing rather than required.
At our organization, any fundraiser assigned to a prospect should always have a queued action and an associated opportunity. The “Save & New” functionality made it much easier to maintain that cadence by streamlining the process of immediately entering the next action.
Having a comparable, optional workflow enhancement in Web View would significantly improve efficiency and help reinforce consistent portfolio management practices.
