Allow more than one Addressee/Salutation in RE NXT emails, and allow us to define each

Only being able to use "Primary" Addressee/Salutations in NXT email is not a solution (I mean, who ever addresses their emails with an Addressee, which is meant for the front of an envelope?).

We want the same functionality as Online Express had, where you had the choice of primary, secondary and tertiary addressee/salutations. We defined one of our salutations as the Constituent ID, and used this in emails where it was important to be able to communicate the constituent's ID to them (for example, filling in surveys so that we had a guaranteed match back to our data etc).

I agree that this functionality is really important. In K–12 especially, we often need flexibility in how we address families—sometimes the salutation needs to go to both parents, and other times we need to address just the individual, even when the primary addressee/salutation is set up for the couple. Online Express gave us that flexibility with multiple, definable salutations, and losing that in NXT Email has made it hard to use the tool for real‑world communications.

Having access to more than one salutation—and being able to choose which one to use—would make NXT Email far more usable for schools and any organization that relies on personalized communication and identifiers like Constituent ID

Yes! Automation concept doesn't work without authentic, personal details like specific salutations.

I agree. I don't need an addressee in an email - what I really need are multiple options for salutations. At least three options would be nice and the ability to define them (like we could do in Online Express) would be ideal. Please make this a priority since I STILL cannot use Email in NXT with the current functionality!

The ability to pull in Constituent ID is a key piece of us being able to use RE NXT emails for all our emails. We have a number of surveys that rely on a person putting in their constituent id before they can complete the survey. We also run an election every three years where alumni have to enter their constituent ID before they can vote. Please add constituent ID as a merge field.
