Make all Database Fields Accessible To Queries, Exports, Gift Lists, and Dashboards (Including Insights)

I am encountering problems when creating Dashboards, Gift Lists, and Queries because there fields(s) that I need to filter on / display is not accessible to me (i.e. <Date Added> Gift Field). I have recently started utilizing RENXT Web View to convert RE Database View reports, queries / exports, and eventually our Dashboards. I encounter roadblocks doing this due to not having the ability to filter / display some of these data fields that are important fields to filter / display (i.e. <Data Added> Gift Field>) to get correct data information.

Will Blackbaud eventually make ALL DATA FIELDS in RE Data View accessible in RENXT Web View (to filter on as well as to display) for Queries, Exports, Gift Lists and Dashboards? It is stressful for me to start doing a conversion of a query, etc. only then to find out I cannot access some data fields that I need; I must go back to RE Database View.

I want to be able to utilize custom gift fields when filtering data and making donor or gift lists in NXT.

The filter options should also include "not one of" in the filters. Right now you're only able to select the drop down items you WANT vs the drop down items you DON'T WANT.

Yes, I want to filter the Opportunities dashboard by Prospect Classification. Prospect Status is a supported filter, but not Prospect Classification? So weird. I would also like to filter the opportunities dashboard by Opportunity Likelihood. Why don't you let us choose the filters for a dashboard? That'd be great.

ALL reporting, queries, and exports should be connected. I should be able to pull a list into a query, a query into a list, or a query or list into a standard report. Cross functionality would save SO MUCH WORK AND TIME for database managers.

    This is SO CRITICAL

How will the new single line query be able to address a mass mail file that uses filtered queries etc?

I want to echo that we also use Custom Fields for specific data that falls out of NXT's out-of-the-box structure. Not being able to pull those into dashboards and insights makes them significantly less useful.

For me, this is a critical piece missing in Gift Lists. the lists I run regularly in database view have Gift Code, Appeal Split Amount, Receipt Amount, Benefit, Benefit Count, Cost of Goods, Check Date, Check Number, and I know there are fields others use in different lists and reports as well that aren't available in Unified View.

Yes please! We need ALL fields in dashboards especially - it makes our fundraisers question why they are adding things to the database if they can't see them in their dashboards within the database.

The fact that Custom fields can't be used in insights and dashboards drives me up a wall. Custom fields are the only way we can track the data we need when it doesn't fit ReNXT's out of the box capabilities (and is the entire point of it being customizable to each organization), and it's lack of integration with reporting has thrown a complete wall in every dashboard/insight I make in NXT.

Add being able to filter Proposal/Opportunities for whether they are open or completed, or the date they were entered, or even on the name of the proposal/opportunity. We tried using this tile/function for the different levels of our annual fund solicitations, but we found the second year that we couldn't query/export the Proposals/Opportunities without including ALL of them - so we couldn't see just the current/open ones. It took a lot of manual work on the export to eliminate the past/closed proposals from the list before we could work with them.

I just ran into this AGAIN in Dashboards. On our Pledge Installments Due Dashboards, we really want to show the Fundraisers Listed on the Pledges .. so we/they can monitor their pledges. Right now we can't get that gift field in that Insight.

I do a lot of data hygiene so I need to export data, fix it, then re-import it. However to do this, I need to be able to access the import ID for the one:many type fields. However, these Import ID's are only in the Export tool. So I might have a query with the exact email address I need to update and the type that it is, but I then have to go to Export and export either all of the possible email types (the emails needing updated will NOT all be the same type) or export the particular types that I need to that I know "Email" is in col C, Email Business is in col D, etc. But then I have to still go thru all of the emails AGAIN to find the particular email I need to update and in the process I am generally converting the wide format of the export tool to a long format like query would give. I feel I am doing the work twice to get to the email I need to update. This is NOT working smarter.
In addition, if working with an automation or importing thru a third party source, I am unable to to fully import/update everything I need to because the fields are not available to import.
Please give us access to all of the fields in the database. If it can be queried on or accessed in one place, we should be able to access that field from ANY location or functionality within the database!

We also need to be able to filter based on gift package, not just campaign, fund, and appeal.

Another need is to see and filter on constituent solicit codes in a gift list and have more specific gift information available in the constituent lists.

Please! I run into this as well. (The GFLink field that connects pledges to pledge payments is one that's missing.)

Gift Designation and Fund Split Amount should also be included
