When linking a gift/transaction to a recurring gift, the actual gifts become recurring gift-pay cash as intended, but it doesn't allow you to unlink the gift afterwards if needed. We'd have to adjust the gift and recreate it to remove the greyed out recurring gift pay-cash gift type. Seems like the only option, the following is not advised to anyone but if you delete a recurring gift (template) that has any gift/transactions linked to it, the linked gifts get deleted from the record as well. Please improve functionality and allow us to unlink donations linked to recurring gifts. Thank you.
