When in the Action List of NXT, the actions can be edited or completed from the ... menu to the left of the constituents name. I often use this to mark actions as complete. However there is a notification box that appears each time an action is marked as complete, this box doesn't disappear... ever. They have to be individually be closed. These boxes stack up on the screen eventually covering the entire right side.

Is it possible to make them fade away after they appear?
