I have seen many comments on recurring gifts and pledge payments. We treat these two differently. Recurring payments are considered when donors set up a schedule on their own for a specific period of time. Pledges need a signed document, and it is usually a minimum of $1,000 to $5000. The recurring gift entry is what I was entering in ReNxt Batch. There are some things I want to point out about the recurring gifts while remaining aware that programmers may not be finished with that aspect. I notice there is no recurring gift payment and that I was unable to attach that payment to a recurring gift entry that already exists on a constituent's record. I entered the "one-time" (i.e. cash) gifts in 1 batch and entered the 2 recurring gifts as "one-time" gifts in another batch using RENxt Batch so that I can apply the payments to the recurring gift in DBV. Again, this creates a manual process that increases the time of entry. Now, it is ready for the post gifts and FENxt. (see attachment for visual & more commentary)
