In Online express donations, the e-receipt was included as a PDF in the email acknowledgement when the donation was made and within that e-receipt, it included information to show whether the donor had indicated whether Gift Aid could be claimed on that gift. This is really useful evidence to show a person's Gift Aid eligibility to prove to HMRC that the donor ticked Yes to Gift Aid. For NXT donation forms there is currently no PDF e-receipt, but Blackbaud has said that in updates to be made in 2026, we will be able to choose whether e-receipts are sent with the acknowledgement email, or at the time the batch is approved.
Can the NXT PDF e-receipt that is sent with the acknowledgement email include whether the donor selected yes to Gift Aid, as currently we don't have any evidence to prove this for HMRC and this would really help with out audit trail
