Adding and editing custom fields for event participants in web view

We would like to be able to add and edit custom fields for event participants - currently we have to swap to db view to be able to do this. In todays PUB, it was mentioned that this isn't in the plan for unified view in 2026 but is something that holds us back from really using web view completely for events.

    Yes, this is something I very much need. Especially since we no longer have the ability to manually assign the Import ID on the back end during imports, I need a place where I can assign the registration ID for someone from 3rd party registration apps, so that I can trace back a person's registration easily.

    Same for us, and this is going to be a major problem if our access to the database view is removed before this functionality is available in the web view.
