We need to be able to identify the current consent options without having to export all the consent records to Excel, and pick off the most recent ones for each constituent.

It is important to regularly compare Solicit Codes to the consent records, as Solicit Codes can be edited manually, causing conflicts between consent preferences and mailing lists based on the Solicit Codes. This would be a simple query if there was a primary flag on the consent records, rather than the unweildy manual export and matching process it currently takes. I expect many small shops don't have the time or skills to perform these checks, which puts them at risk of breaching GDPR regulations.
