When you apply a gift to a pledge in database view, that gift automatically carries through the Acknowledgement status and letter. This is essential as it allows us to indicate on the pledge how the gift should be acknowledged when it comes in. Currently in webview, any gift applied to a pledge still defaults to 'Needs acknowledgement' with a blank letter field.

This is another reason our finance team cannot add gifts in web view. Please make the functionality the same!
