It's a minor detail compared to the numerous continued difficulties with CRA compliance and non-migration of receipt stack information and other important gift fields (gift code, anyone?). However, showing the fund - specifically our internal coding for a fund - has confused every single person we have tested a new receipt on. It is absolutely absurd that at the very least we cannot change wording here if we can't hide it altogether. And when a donor suddenly sees "01 Undesignated FY26" on their receipt, all of a sudden we are taking up time explaining coding to donors to assure them their donations are going where they want them to go. I know you can have the Fund ID and the Fund Name be different (essentially like a 'display name')but we found our error rate in data entry dropped dramatically when we made those the same.
