Ability to collect Gift Aid declarations online (without a donation)

There may be an idea for this already in a different category (before the Gift Aid category existed). Please can there be a way in which we can collect Gift Aid declarations from supporters who donate via other mechanisms, just by sending them a form (not linked to a specific donation) - a form that feeds straight into to RE to create a declaration.

    We just have a form on our website that we direct people to in order to have a proper declaration form completed and then on their record just list it as Electronic and Internet. is that what you mean? It isn't linked to a donation.

    The issue I am finding with RE NXT adding declarations is that I have to go in and change the start dates because they don't go back 4 years from the made date.

    This would be incredibly useful, and help us move away from paper donation forms on site.
