This is a real issue in the system because unless I use database view to apply stock to a pledge there's no way to do this in webview. I just went through it last week. In DBV I would enter>save>sell the stock, then go to Gift>Apply to>Pledge, and it would become a pay-stock gift type. I don't see how I can do this in webview though. If I start it as a stock/property gift type and try to apply it before saving/selling, it switches to a pledge payment gift type and I lose the stock/property detail fields. If I save it first, whether it's sold or not, there's no option I can find to apply it post save.
