Adding pledges to Optimized form is not currently planned. The Optimized form is optimized for the donor to make a quick gift - pledges require more decisions from a donor like setting a frequency and we see donors using pledge will typically make several modifications to their pledge frequency to get the payment they are looking for.

This doesn't mean that pledge is out of the question for Optimized, we will be watching votes on this Idea to gauge interest! We just know that design for pledge, in an optimized way, is not quite as easy and straightforward as it is for standard form.
