With the functionality of Pledge being an option on donor forms, I want to pose the idea for a signature field on the pledge form to record a donor's signature for record-keeping purposes. This is especially needed if a donor were to present a major gift in case their pledge comes up in an audit.
Also, with the new law in Florida (FL SB 700), we are required to have an attestation from the donor that is auditable. A signature field would be extremely helpful to allow a donor to provide that signature at the time of the gift/pledge.
Opening this for Voting. For now, we are recommending using a Custom Field on Standard Form for the donor attestation - for example, you could create a custom field where they would type their name for attestation, and optionally a second one to set the date.
