The gifts timeline can be very deceiving since it shows a dot for failed recurring gift transactions on the Gifts line. A cultivator may just glance at it and see that the person is giving regularly even if their transactions have failed for months due to credit card closing or because they skipped payments or placed the recurring gift on indefinite hold. I'd vote for either not showing a dot for $0 cumulative monthly giving OR changing the color and style of the dot (with web accessibility in mind), or provided a way for a user to filter the timeline for gifts (don't include failed transactions, do include soft credits, for example)
