In the Database view, the Import function under Administration is an essential tool for a DBA and must be given priority for NXT. It serves as an import function for new records and an export/import function to update specific data within Raiser’s Edge using the importID of the field you are trying to update. I use this function all the time to update attributes/custom fields during the year and heavily during year-end.
