When someone registers for an event with a different email address than the one marked as primary, the system automatically switches the email. This results in the registrant receiving their confirmation email and any subsequent emails regarding the event to their preferred email vs the one they actually wanted to receive information to. This creates great confusion for the end user, as they will look to find confirmation emails and event information within the inbox of the email they used to register for.
