Currently, participant names in Events > Participants > Name are formatted using Unified View Control panel >Constituent records > Individual display name settings, which apply organization wide. This limits flexibility and slows down event workflows where quick name recognition is key. Since Unified View Individual display name formating isn’t tailored for event needs, it’s not ideal for Event participation name display or search.

A better solution is to let users choose simple format, like LastName, FirstName or FirstName LastName, directly within the Events module. This would improve clarity, usability, and efficiency during events.
