Employee relationship records can be event participates

We often invite representatives of companies we work with to events and want to track those participants. We would have to create new participant records when the individual already has a relationship record. We do not want to make them a full constituent because they are not being solicited as an individual. It would be helpful to be able to mark employees as having attended an event like you can with a spouse record.
