Email Notifications for new recurring gifts should include the type of payment

It is very helpful for processing the gifts properly to know from the email notification what kind of transaction was used such as Direct Debit or Credit Card. This information is available on one time gifts made but not recurring gifts.

    An inefficiency has been identified in the Canadian Direct Debit workflow. Recurring Gift notification emails generated from donation forms do not include the selected payment method when the donor chooses Direct Debit.

    In contrast, notification emails for credit card donations do include the payment method, creating inconsistent behavior across payment types and limiting internal visibility for organizations relying on these notifications for processing.

    Request: Update donation form gift notifications to include the payment method when donors select Direct Debit, ensuring parity with credit card notifications and improving operational transparency.
