On online donation forms, when someone selects to notify someone of a tribute gift, the email address is an optional field, but the mailing address is required. We have many donors who do not know the mailing address for their tribute honoree, but know that we have the information. We would like to know if someone would like to notify another person about a tribute gift, but it is frustrating for them when they don't know the mailing address. I recommend making both the mailing address and email address optional for tribute notification.
