When BB builds business rules in the web view, admins need to be a group to apply user defined rules to.

This idea presents a larger opportunity for improvement beyond simply migrating business rules to the web view. Regarding custom rules, I would like to have the ability to apply them to selected security groups, similar to the functionality in the database view. Additionally, I would appreciate having 'admin' as an option among the security groups. It would also be helpful to create rules that are only visible to the technical fundraisers. I understand that I can set up a separate account that is not an admin for this purpose, and I would prefer to be able to log in as an administrator and have access to the custom business rules I need to view.

I second everything Elizabeth said! This improvement would be immensely helpful. And just in case business rules aren't planned for webview, I want to say that many of us work at orgs that have been using specific business rules for a decade or more - such that some of them feel like features of the system rather than something an admin created. We rely on them to help with data entry and management. In an ideal world, our current business rules would migrate to webview automatically and we could add new business rules with enhancements like Elizabeth is suggesting. If business rules are not coming to webview, we need a long lead time to figure out new management processes going forward before we lose access to database view.
