Have a "work with Custom fields" ability like "work with gifts"

We all need to be able to view and sort Custom Fields like we now do with Attributes in dbview, by any of the columns. Users rely on the Attribute/Custom Field as a sub/secondary to Constituent Code, mail codes, groupings, among other things. Currently the tile requires clicks to see all the info that is on one line in dbview and you cannot sort by all the fields in that tile rendering it all but impossible. If we could at least have a "work with" to get a new window with all the custom fields listed and sortable by any column, like has been done with "work with gifts" it would help solve a big challenge.

We record a lot of important data in custom fields. The current structure of the Custom Fields tab is limiting and makes it difficult to find and see the information. It is limiting as only five custom fields are able to be seen at a time and one has to use the advance buttons to see the next page of five custom field. Even when using the built in category sorter and selector it is difficult. Also, having to extend the field data to see the date and comments on each custom field is more than aggravating - since there is important data there as well and it then collapses once we navigate through the listing of shown fields.
In database view we can see all the custom fields at once, along with the details, date and comments. Having this ability taken away makes it difficult to get view the data and get the full picture of what the custom fields are telling us.
Using 'Work with gifts' as a model is excellent choice as we would be able to clearly see the full data has been recorded in the custom field. By being able to see the full data of the custom fields, we can get a better picture, or story, about the constituent.

Custom fields as they stand are very cumbersome. We need the ability to select and delete more than one attribute at a time as well as view them all at one time. I find myself having to click many times just to delete a couple of attributes. We need the functionality of attributes brought to custom fields.
