Currently, when adding or viewing a tribute on a constituent record in Web View, a key field available in Database View is missing: the Notes field. While tribute management in Web View includes Tribute Type, Description, Fund, Date From/To, Acknowledgee(s), and Acknowledgee Letter Code, it does not include the Notes field despite being essential to many organizations’ workflows.
The Notes field is where many organizations capture critical contextual information related to tributes, such as:
Recognition instructions or location details (e.g., tree plantings, plaques, bricks, benches)
Specific language or requests from family members
Internal instructions for managing complex acknowledgee situations (e.g., multiple or blended families, sensitive circumstances)
Without this field, key information is lost to users working in Web View, potentially compromising donor stewardship, program execution, and internal coordination. For organizations with high-volume tribute programs or teams working across departments, this can lead to confusion, errors, and inconsistent donor experiences.
Please bring full parity to Web View by including the Notes field in Tribute management. This field is not optional for many users. It is central to maintaining accurate tribute records and delivering consistent, high-quality recognition and stewardship.
