When a donor makes a gift through an RE NXT online giving form and that gift is later refunded in BBMS, the transaction still appears in RE NXT as an unapproved batch. The only current option is to approve the batch, which automatically generates a tax receipt, even though the gift has been refunded. This causes confusion, inaccurate records, and potential donor communication issues.

We need the ability to:

• Reject or delete unapproved batches in RE NXT when the underlying BBMS transaction has already been refunded.

• OR have the system automatically remove refunded transactions from RE NXT unapproved batches.

• OR receive a prompt or warning before approving a batch that contains a refunded gift.

This would help prevent accidental receipting of refunded gifts and reduce manual cleanup through support tickets.
