Disappointing. Can't even try to address any of this in databaseview. And the workaround of re-scheduling the installment did not work.
From Blackbaud:
At the moment, WebView does not include the ability to delete pledges or create write-offs directly. We understand how valuable these features are, and while they are not yet available, the best current workaround is to re-schedule the installments to a future date.
To re-schedule pledge installments, access the pledge record and select the option to edit the pledge schedule. From there, you can modify the installment amounts and dates as needed. After making the changes, ensure to save the updated schedule.
We realize this isn't an ideal solution, but it can help maintain accurate records until these features are released in a future update.
I would recommend to add this in idea link here for future updates: https://renxt.ideas.aha.io/ideas/new
Here's a fun thing that happened to me today. Entering a new pledge on NXT in webview, click save too quickly before I've edited the schedule, which (insanely) defaults to today's date one payment. And of course, once you're on the day-of a payment, you can't edit it, write it off, delete it, change it nothing. We very nearly erroneously charged $20,000 as a one-time payment to a donor. This is nuts, from a split second typing issue. In the end chat support came up with the idea to create a dummy record, move the pledge to the dummy record and then delete the whole dummy record. It worked, but I would never have thought of that in my moment of panic. I would suggest, if everything still needs to be locked down on the day of a scheduled payment, at the very least don't default pledge schedule data entry to today's date.
This is a really frustrating situation given that our fiscal year is finishing up and there is no recourse in fixing these pledges.
