Microsoft Access data sources act as the data sources for many dynamic reports and interactive dashboards due to their field formatting versatility and formatting integrity (currency, short/long dates, etc.). However, it seems that this feature has not been added to the web based RE yet and this is concerning. This compatibility ensures organizations can easily generate new dashboards while maintaining their existing internal reports, preventing premature obsolescence of critical business intelligence tools.
