I was surprised to find out that you cannot update and save the naming of static queries in web view without them automatically running. “This is a static query. After the query has been saved the system will generate keys for the records that meet the specified criteria.” As a database administrator there are many reasons why I routinely need to change query names, update the description, or other options, but do not want them to immediately run.
